Thank you Martin, excellent work!
I agree that the work that will be done in OFBIZ-6275 will simplify this task,
we can definitely wait and then complete the work in that branch or wait for it
to be merged.
As regards the entities/fields: I'd vote to remove them and the supporting
upgrade scripts from the trunk; they will still live in the release branches
where they make more sense. And removing entity/fields definitions doesn't
cause issues to existing data (i.e. OFBiz will not try to drop tables/columns).
