But of course, just like PulseAudio and Systemd from Lennart Poettering, this project has a lot of controversies and people who don't like the changes. Recently re-reading the "Advanced Programming in the UNIX ® Environment" Third Edition (nice book for anyone willing to use NuttX) I saw this comment from Dennis Ritchie: "Unix was able to adapt rather gracefully to a networked environment and, perhaps less elegantly, but still adequately, to a graphical one." Anyway, Wayland had almost 17 years to have the basic features existent on X and to implement a more adequate solution. Unfortunately it didn't happen.
