Hi Roberto, I think currently the driver is hard-code to use X2 mode, you will need to modify it to work on X4 mode.
Currently the QE é architecture specific, there is not a generic upper half driver where you can define features that driver will use like X1, X2, X4 mode, zero index pin, etc. There is a good article about STM32 QE: https://www.mdpi.com/1424-8220/22/14/5127 I think it could help you!
