I think Eduardo got it working on NuttX using PPPD, see:

It is important to know, because even Quectel support said the it
wasn't possible to use CatM1 or NB-IoT with PPP:

But of course the support guy was wrong and even in the modem
datasheet comments that PPP was supported.
