Yes, seams like your board configuration has some issue.

It is important to get each feature working before to try to put
everything working at same time.

This is why I always suggest to people getting started to NuttX to
create some blogs post to document their progress and discoveries, it
will pave the new to all new users.

That is nice, some helping to expand our documentation in the right
direction that you saw the gap is the way to go.
