Well, we are over 10 months pushing 11 months as an Apache podling. In
my assessment, we have made zero progress on IP clearance. I am
certainly appreciative of the tool-related work of Adam Feurer and
Matias N. They have certainly assured that we have proper tool support
to do the job.
But who is going to do the real job? There has been really no progress
at clearing files. Zero files have been cleared. That is why I say
that there has be zero progress.
I don't know how much time is allowable for this. We have certainly
pissed away this first year but I have heard of projects incubating for
two years. Can we have another year? What is to say we do not piss
that away too? Should we be making other plans?
