Joe Anytime you make changes to the codebase of nifi-site you'll want to commit them (likely on master). Then you'll want to deploy the site and the process for that can be found in the readme https://github.com/apache/nifi-site/blob/master/README.md.
What happened yesterday is that Bryan updated the people page, committed, then deployed. It appears your previous update hadn't been committed so his deploy wiped yours out. He then patched it to include your stuff. So now your latest commit looks good (after Bryans) and you should be able to deploy. No biggie and once you deploy your commit we should be good to go.
