I'm also a **+1** for upgrading to 2.6.1. I was also thinking that this
would need to play into the [template
registry](https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NIFI/Extension+and+Template+Registry)
proposal. We should definitely continue to iron out the details so we can get
that feature into a not too distant release.
