I have temporarily put the plugin documentation for
versions-maven-plugin onto this:
http://khmarbaise.github.io/versions-maven-plugin/
which worked very simple ......
The simplest and fastes solution would be to change the
distributionManagement entry for site and use the
maven-scm-publish-plugin which supports Git (gh-pages branch)...
The only thing which is not clear to me at the moment where to put pages
like mojo.codehaus.org itself which might be put on the
https://github.com/mojohaus
area...?

The GitHub markdown/wiki could possibly be a documentation target, but
