Hello Karl, I have had a good read of that guide some time ago, but the reason I am asking to join codehaus mojo is because I would like to do a bit more than just pushing the artifact to maven central. Given that I know of no alternatives that offer the same level of functionality, I would like to promote my plugin to _the_ protobuf-maven-plugin status. I would like to repackage it into org.codehaus.mojo package space. I would also like to leverage the whole of codehaus environment, such as JIRA and site hosting, and move everything but version control off GitHub.
