"BSD 3" actually is OLDER than "BSD 2". The number is NOT the version number. It is the number of rules in the licence. BSD originally had four rules. The next version had three rules ("BSD 3"). The next version had only two rules ("BSD 2"). So it is wrong to name "BSD 3" as "BSD v3" / "BSD 2" as "BSD v2". Sorry to tell you, but for clarity you should fix that.
