Bob Fields updated MVERSIONS-217 provide a way to exclude alpha/beta versions This is the rules.xml we use internally to ignore the unwanted pseudo-release versions (alpha, beta, m, rc, milestone, 200*, plus some specific versions in some specific artifacts). It covers versions seen in hibernate, cxf, java/jee, etc. Additional configuration updates welcome. An improvement would be to be able to reference the rules URI as a maven dependency, plus additional options in the updates goals to optionally ignore these versions.
