Just noticed this is the same for extra-enforcer-rules I'm releasing. I think we should script the modification for all the pre-release plugin, isn't it? See http://mojo.codehaus.org/templating-maven-plugin/ for example that has the correct watermark (I was reminded of that by Robert when releasing some months ago).
