But from this http://mojo.codehaus.org/appassembler/appassembler-maven-plugin/usage-daemon.html I got the impression that I can also specify platforms such as: <platform>unix</platform> or <platform>windows</platform> and with any of those I get the null-pointer exception. If I use the patch that I have applied then no exception occurs and the scripts are generated in the bin folder.
