+1 seems to work fine on multimodules projects. Small thing I know might trigger a flame war :-) : Basically you seem to use spaces only. Our poms contains only tabs and the plugin will currently replace those tabs by a space at the second level of xml tree (groupId, artifactId, dependencies).
I suppose I'll file a JIRA if you want that we make a fix for that some day, since I seem to remember you don't particularly like tab ;-).
