I will begin the promotion. I will change the version to match the pattern that is similar to that used by the GWT Maven plugin. I will first send a notice to the dev and user community to give then an advanced notice of the change. I am willing to look into changes that are required by non-Java plugins for reports since this plugin and the FindBugs plugin use Groovy therefore some reports are irrelevant.
