MCOBERTURA-132 complains that user settings of forkMode don't work in
M3. It looks to me as if the reason is that M3 'fixed' something. The
c-m-p lifecycle.xml has a setting of forkMode in it for surefire.
While it looks like a bear to prove it, my hypothesis is that in M3,
this setting wins.
Could anyone offer a supposition as to why we have this setting? It
would seem that the easy solution to -132 is to remove it.
