Conny Kreyßel commented on MAPPASM-97:
--------------------------------------
We also look for a service wrapper framework with a less restrictive license
and we would also support the integration of yajsw.
Today I look around for other maven plugins for yajsw and i found that sonatype
(the maven creators) also work on such a plugin, but today no offical documents
are available.
Take look at
http://repository.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-runtime-assembler-plugin/
(i think he plans to release as offical maven plugin)
and/or
http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/sonatype/plugins/maven-runtime-assembler-plugin/
(internal sonatype releases)

> I'd like to see a goal added to generate a YAJSW-based executable assembly.
> YAJSW has broader OS support, in particular windows 64-bit os's. The
> downside is that "the minimal virtual memory requirement of YAJSW is 90 MB
> and 40 MB physical memory." However, in my particular case that doesn't
> really matter, I just need a flavor of JSW that's functional on my OS.
> I wouldn't replace the existing JSW support with this, a new goal should be
> sufficient.
