Kohsuke,

if you are amenable to changing the license of animal-sniffer from CDDL,
could you please modify the pom.xml at
https://svn.codehaus.org/mojo/trunk/sandbox/animal-sniffer/pom.xmlaccordingly.

While the license does not need to be changed, it would obviously help if we
had this code under either the MIT or the Apache license.

It would be great if the code you wrote (i.e. as of r10477 everything in the
animal-sniffer tree except for the pom.xml files. I have reformatted the
java code with the codehaus style and changed the package names, but
otherwise the code is all still identical to the code you wrote... i.e.
AFAIK you still are the author) could be re-licensed under one of those two
licenses (or even dual- or tripple-licensed) as (I want to extend and
refactor the code somewhat) before I go muddying up the licensing situation
by having effectively multiple authors for some sections of the code.

W.r.t. the pom.xml files which I have written, I am fine to go with whatever
license(s) you assign to the java code and the documentation

Thanks,

-Stephen
