David J. M. Karlsen updated MASPECTJ-12:
----------------------------------------
It's not really straightforward, but we can instead use the variable
project.build.java.target for this, which is commonly used to define the level.
> Have AspectJ compiler inherit Java compiler's source and target values.

> Issue Type: Improvement
> Affects Versions: 1.0

> Priority: Trivial

> If you have a project for which the Java compiler's source and target levels
> have been set to 1.5, you need to also set these values for the aspectJ
> compiler. It would be convenient if the aspectJ compiler's configuration
> inherited the values from the java compiler's, unless explicitly specified.
> It's a minor annoyance, and I have no idea how hard it is to do, or even
> whether it's desirable in all circumstances.
