--------------------------------------------------------------------
When I originally tried using JavaCC 4.2 for the plugin one of its ITs
immediately failed due to
https://javacc.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=221 so I wasn't too eager to
make a release for this. Given that their homepage now says "JavaCC Version 4.3
scheduled for release this month." I would rather like to wait for the 4.3
release before pushing another plugin release.
If the interface to JavaCC is the same, you can already update the dependency
for the plugin now, without a new plugin release. Simply declare javacc:4.2
inside the {{<dependencies>}} section of the {{<plugin>}} declaration for the
javacc-maven-plugin. The only thing you want to watch out for is MNG-1323 which
basically requires to configure this dependency for all modules in a reactor
that use the javacc-maven-plugin.
