Hi!
Appassembler has been in beta-stage for quite some time now. I
think it
is time to round things up and release 1.0.
Which issues must be resolved to release 1.0?
Can somebody (TM) take a look at the list of unscheduled issues?
(I don't think I have the experience or the privs to do the
scheduling...)
There are only two issues currently scheduled for 1.0, but I hope
that
at least some of the documentation issues can be scheduled for 1.0
as well.
I have created a new version 2.x, since there a few changes that have
been discussed which will break backward compatibility and should
thus
be scheduled for 2.x. For example refactoring to more consistent
configuration between JSW-daemon and the "regular" start scripts.
As much as I'd like to see all the issues I know of it is most
likely better to just release what is there now and start looking
towards a 2.0 version.
+1 for doing a release with the bare minimum of documentation and
just add that later on.
Agreed. 69 and 72 look important as build problems too.
Erik, you should have access to update the schedule - let me know if
there's a problem.
