I would definitely like to remove all the unused code and to unify
everything under a single API. The current code base has never been
cleaned up after the initial code that was written.
However, I feel bad raising these issues without being able to actually
get the time to fix them. So I won't veto it or anything, I just wish
someone would take the time to get it done the way I want (which I know
is not going to happen without spending more time on it).

What about leaving the maven plugin under the org.codehaus.mojo group id
to not confuse people and let the rest of the code live under
o.c.m.appassembler?
