Max Bowsher commented on MRMIC-24:
----------------------------------

I think this is a duplicate of MRMIC-23. The plugin is properly not recompiling
classes which don't need to be compiled, but its' compiling an extra spurious
stub for every already existing stub when run without a clean.

> rmic is run even when the classes are already up to date

> rmic takes the majority of the time for my project. So, when I run "mvn
> package" without a clean, it makes the whole build cycle almost as long as it
> does with a clean. The solution would be to implement something that checks
> to see if the RMI classes actually need to be rmic compiled.
