Consider the following ...
public interface ExampleInterface {
public void setExampleProperty(Object exampleProperty);
}
And the following groovy class ...
class ExampleClass implements ExampleInterface {
def exampleProperty
}
This should work and does if you aren't using the joint compile stuff.
