Can't tell yet if its your fault or not...as its working for most people.  Here 
are some suggestions...

First, you are using an older version of the plugin.  Please update to version 
1.4.

Second, please be sure you are including the necessary jars, such as jstl.jar 
in your pom as well as ensuring its scoped at compile.

Third, it may help if you include your pom as its difficult to see the issue 
without it.
