Hi All, Some time back I tried this with a Gigabyte T1028 running Moblin and made some good progress. The only thing I could not get to work was touch clicks. As I was in a rush to get a touch panel working I then switched to Karmic and used the evtouch driver (which work fine).
To give you a head start with moblin I used the eGalaxy driver (eGalaxTouch-2.07) from http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eGalaxTouchDriver/linuxDriver.htm. You need to use the 'Option "HidOnEPC" "1" in order for the touch-screen to be able to be calibrated correctly. To invoke the TouchScreen utility (which contains the calibration tools) run eGalaxTouch. Hope this helps, I will take another look at this soon.
