I have finished basic testing and I can confirm the "normal" open source
driver does not work for me. Driver can not detect the LVDS port is
connected neither can fetch the EDID info from the panel.
I have also installed the IEGD driver and here is the place where I
would like to ask for bit of help.
drm_test and agp_test seems all work nice.
If anyone have simple xorg.conf working for single display LVDS would be
nice to share here
I would also want to ask if using startx would start the moblin GUI
automagically or there is something more that should be started ?

OpenGL 1.4/1.5 so GUI will be nice.

By normal drivers you mean the open source intel driver ?
I need to work with IEGD driver with 945GSE chipset. IEGD does add some
performance to the system. I tried the IEGD under other linux but then
it miss AIGLX, but moblin GUI is openGL based so it should not be X
issue anymore ?
I use Norco EMB-3850 3.5 SBC board.

I have truly supported chipset - 945GSE. It works very nice under XP
with the same IEGD 10.3.1
for 945 I'd expect you to use the moblin normal drivers...
