Moblin 2.1 supports only one Modem being Ericsson MBM. There will be additional modem support in the next 2-3 months.
Thanks, majid -----Original Message----- From: dev-boun...@moblin.org [mailto:dev-boun...@moblin.org] On Behalf Of Jay Shanker Sent: Sunday, October 18, 2009 4:33 AM To: dev@moblin.org Subject: [Moblin Dev] 3G support Hi I am testing moblin 2.1 and wanted to set up 3G. I have a novatel based 3g USB from virgin Mobile which uses a pay as go option (unlike the ones from Verizon, AT&T or Sprint) to connect to the internet under windows xp. Under Moblin 2.1 the 3G still shows unavailable. IS 3G support limited to one of these carriers- Verizon, AT&T or Sprint or can others be added on. I think there is a linux driver available from Novatel. Does support for new 3G has to be reconfigured in the moblin image by adding on new 3G and create a new image ?. Thanks for any light on this.
