I thought if I am going to help vote on the checkstyle release I should follow the docs we have, especially given the vocal opinions previously expressed about releases.
And I find that I can't find them. http://maven.apache.org/guides/development/guide-testing-releases.html Just has what to test - not what we need to check from a PMC's legal point of view. http://maven.apache.org/developers/release/maven-project-release-procedure.html Has "Call the vote" and "Check the vote results" but nothing in between on what to do in order to vote. http://maven.apache.org/developers/index.html Doesn't have any links either.
