Hi,
I personally don't see the benefit of the "improvement" and "new
feature". Even more I think it might confuse people, especially deciding
what is an improvement and what is a new feature. Is a feature only new,
when it's introducing anything completly new which wasn't there before
or where's the line? Is a new feature always an improvement and is a new
behavior always an improvement or maybe a bug or also a new feature?

I think I would leave it with bug report and new feature/improvement -
take one word or the other and put the other into the description. I
think "Feature request" is the most common term for improvements and
completly new features).

Have a good night
Matthias

P.S. Keep in mind: My thoughts are ofc non binding as I'm no commiter.

Hi,

Working forward on GitHub Issues I would like to propose a templates for issues:

- Bug Report - standard bug report
- New Feature Proposal - request for new feature
- Improvement Proposal - improvement for existing feature

I hope it will be enough ...

So my proposed PR:
  - https://github.com/apache/maven-gh-actions-shared/pull/122
