Hi Hervé,

My username is carlspring.

The documentation on the site needs serious work, as there is a lack
thereof. Any developer unfamiliar with the indexer must dig through the
sources and try to figure out what's deprecated and what's not (which is
currently tricky business, unless you're willing to invest a lot of time)
and pray they're using the right thing. The site documentation is very
non-existant. I created a separate module for examples, which are currently
based on Tamas' examples from Github, which are a great starting point but
need to be further extended with more examples, as there's much more to
illustrate. There's bits and pieces scattered across different sites and we
should gather things in one place and make it as useful as possible.

I would like to open a few issues in JIRA and chase some of the guys who've
filed other issues in order to polish their requirements or close the
obsolete ones and then schedule the relevant ones for 6.0. I don't know if
I will need some extra permissions for that...?

I also have gotten the latest indexer to work under Spring which is where I
need to be using it from in my own project and I would like to add this to
the examples.

What needs to be done in order to be able to fully drop plexus is to now
replace the wagon code with a proper httpclient one. I had started working
on this but went on vacation and also had some other more pressing work to
do, but as soon as I get a chance, I will look into this as well.

Kind regards,

Martin
