Well. For javadoc and sources I don't see really the need, though granted
it might be half-baked to not be able to handle these if we realize we
actually need them afterwards.
(And now that I come to think of it, tools like GWT actually only really
need sources and not jars... Right).

About sha1 vs. md5, that's why I proposed a construct in the same vein of
the scm *connection tag :
hashAlgorithm:hash
<checksum>sha1:2cfc5458ff56d559316b901a348bbcad01d3ce62</checksum>
