My name is Anthony Papillion and I'm a new member of the marketing list. I've been using OpenOffice for a few years and felt the tug of contributing something back to the community. While I am a developer, my Java Kung-Fu is not strong so I stayed clear of the developer projects. Marketing, however, is a passion of mine. To tell you a bit about me, I'm 36, married, and an avid fan of open source software. I use OpenOffice on both Windows and Linux and, even on the one Windows machine I have, I always look for an open source solution before implementing a proprietary. I own a small consulting and development business which is 100% open source. Microsoft or any other proprietary technology has never seen the inside of any of our computers and we are a 100% Linux and oss focused company. So far, things are great and we're getting to see open source make tremendous in-roads in our customers businesses (Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri). In addition to doing some consulting and development, I also handle all of our marketing efforts and they've been pretty successful so far. So I thought this project might just be the right place for me. So I look forward to jumping in in whatever capacity I'm needed and can't wait to meet everyone else. Oo is an amazing product!
