Up to a point. Digg can react badly if you go too far, and my other
article http://digg.com/software/_Get_Legal_-
_OpenOffice.Org_Spins_Microsoft_FUD headlined "Get Legal" -
OpenOffice.Org Spins Microsoft FUD got a respectable 1128 Diggs. What
certainly seems to be important is to get a fast 20-30 Diggs early in
the life of the article to get it standing out from the crowd; I'm
now watching for OO.o postings by having many OO.o members as
"Friends" so their postings show up more clearly.

Just an observation
If you want headline publicity you need some controversy. Simon Phipps
put out a factual post about ISO 26300, 43 diggs, Chads more
provocative
post 1700+ Diggs.
