I've gotten support from MS, and I'm not even a company. And it didn't cost
me anything.

If those 1% of users are the ones who write the checks for the other 99% -
then, yeah, I'd say it's a very good reason.

That's not true at all. I've got MSO 2003, and it opens formats as old as
Word 2.0. You just have to download the filters from
microsoft.com<http://microsoft.com>- they aren't hard to find. I mean,
I found them, and I'm not that bright -
just ask anyone on this list.

That's a good reason to have OOo "around" somewhere to serve as a resuce
program, but not one to switch everyone in the company for.

are useless now.
