Hey Benjamin,
Really liked your list here:
http://www.solidoffice.com/openoffice/nyc/
I had directed folks to the case studies on the OO.org site. They are
good, but mostly I was just looking for a list of some organizations
who had publicly made the switch from MSOffice to either OO or
StarOffice.
A couple case studies are useful, but a list of 50 organizations that
have made the switch would be better (I think).
This PDF was also useful:
http://native-lang.openoffice.org/conference/slides/02-April-2005-OOo-
Migration.pdf
I was hoping that there may have been more on the StarOffice site..
These could be useful:
http://www.sun.com/software/star/staroffice/whitepapers/index.xml
I think that for some organizations having support contracts is useful.
I'm not sure how well bilingual (English/French) support would be
provided as there isn't a handy list of companies that are offering
services to support it.
Mike
