That is great news! It sounds like he will make a good ally for the
INGOTs and for OOo.
At a barbeque last night, I wore my OpenOffice.org t-shirt. Several
people recognized it and were enthusiastic! One employee of New York
City's Parks Department said he had installed it on a computer in the
office, where his coworker told me it "saved her life."

I did. He likes the INGOTs and I have a meeting scheduled with him in
August to compare notes on FLOSS in education here in the UK and in
South Africa. His talk about the space flight was good. Interesting

he though software patents would end up costing the big players more in
law suits than anything they would get from enforcing them.
