Well, it turns out that in speaking to Daniel, I had misunderstood
his point. So unfortunately, my entire lengthy post was ill-timed,
unfounded, and just plain wrong.

Thanks for asking all of those thoughtful questions, but it turns
out that Daniel Carrera and I had our wires crossed big time. I
completely misunderstood him, and so I fear that I have wasted your
time and everyone else's time in this discussion. My apologies to
you and to everyone else for sinking so much time into such an
errant thought. I certainly will be more judicious in the future
in entering into what I perceive to be frays!

Also, let me stress that I personally think that Sun is doing a
decent job. The entire basis of my comments was that I incorrectly
perceived that Daniel was honked off at Sun due to inflexibility.
My goal was to encourage an audience for Daniel and a couple others
whom I thought were frustrated by being in a minority position
vis-a-vis Sun.

So I stand greatly chagrined and corrected. Once again, my
apologies.
