There is a *lot* of code there. I have limited volunteer time. I could imagine
it taking 3-6mths to get through it all. Open source development works best if
the work can be done piecemeal, so we need to find a way to facilitate that,
rather than getting 3/4 of the way through a 6mth project which then stalls
through lack of developer time.
Personally, I think this would be a fun project, that would benefit Solr. I'd
love to see us find a way to make it happen.
