Hoss Man updated SOLR-4888:
---------------------------

    Description:
In order to ramp up on maintaining the newly donated Solr Ref Guide in
confluence, we need to ramp up on creating confluence accounts for committers
and getting them in hte approprate confluence groups so they have edit
permissions...

For Committers...
* If you are interested in helping to maintain the [Solr Reference
Guide|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/solr/] you need to [Create a
CWIKI Account|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/signup.action]
* Once you have an account, please post your account name as a comment in this
jira issue.
* if you are a PMC member and you are willing to volunteer to [help maintain
CWIKI|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INFRA/Cwiki#Cwiki-StandardGroups]
(notably: managing groups of users) please mention in your jira comment that
you are willing to be a "confluence admin"

For Current Confluence Admins...
* All committers who volunteer should be added to the
[solr-committers|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/admin/users/domembersofgroupsearch.action?membersOfGroupTerm=solr-committers]
confluence group (which had edit permissions for the solr space)
* all volunteers who are also PMC members should be also added to the
[solr-admins|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/admin/users/domembersofgroupsearch.action?membersOfGroupTerm=solr-admins]
confluence group (which also has "space admin" permissions for the solr space)
* volunteers who are PMC members who are also volunteering to be "confluence
admins" should be also added to the
[confluence-administrators|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/admin/users/domembersofgroupsearch.action?membersOfGroupTerm=confluence-administrators]
 group

The ongoing process of dealing with this has now been documented:
