We didn't mention the new aggregation engine [1
<https://github.com/apache/lucene/pull/13568>] in the release notes for 9.12
and that seems like a missed opportunity. It's a significant change, which
improves over the existing faceting functionality in terms of flexibility
and
performance.

What do we think about mentioning it in the 10.0.0 release notes with a
disclaimer that it's actually been out since 9.12?
