Mark Miller commented on SOLR-12801:
------------------------------------
Wow. The tests were in very rough shape. We *have* to execute on a plan of test
defense. Things had gotten so bad that newer tests were getting even worse
because obviously no one minds if ant test fails because of any change because
ant test will fail practically 100% of 100 runs anyway.
This is heading towards non reversible.
I just spent all weekend doing what I could for ant test sanity. I'll share
later today.
> Fix the tests, remove BadApples and AwaitsFix annotations, improve env for
> test development.

> A single issue to counteract the single issue adding tons of annotations, the
> continued addition of new flakey tests, and the continued addition of
> flakiness to existing tests.
> Lots more to come.
