in 8.0, specifically I think we need to figure out:
* how we need to configure these fields (after exploration of being able to
search for relationships in fun ways)
* wether the field configuration should be plainly in the schema, or perhaps
make less verbose by using a FieldType to hide details
* decide how this URP should be enabled; either expressly/manually, or somehow
activated automatically as some URPs get special treatment this way
