The most useful fallback is being able to highlight via re-analyzing the text.
It's perfectly scalable and the right tradeoff for some people (say indexing a
billion tweets). Other people may not have as strict of time requirements, but
may have more strict space requirements.
If termvector based highlighting isn't much faster than re-analysis, that's the
one we should drop support for.
