Shouldn't this be marked resolved against some versions?
It's unfortunate to see a syntax change to the feature (removing of the dollar
sign) in an issue that is a bug fix and doesn't otherwise mention the syntax
change. That's clearly a bad practice. Couldn't you simply make the dollar
sign optional in the regular expression that identifies what to look for?
