+1 to the move.  I haven't got any idea how asciidoc works, but I trust
the judgement of those who think it's a viable option.  Having the
documentation in version control opens up a lot of possibilities.

Questions about how to manage the workflow can be decidedlater, in the
implementation phase, when/if the immediate proposal is approved.  I
have one or two ideas to discuss.
