I realize that whether or not we ship a .war is not tightly coupled to whether
or not we use HTTP to communicate, but I believe Elasticsearch uses some other
type of socket (or maybe it's not even a socket?) to communicate between
processes, supposedly it's much more efficient / lower latency.
Has that also been discussed for Solr 5?
