jan: i have no idea ... note that SOLR-6410 itself was nothing more then an
attempt to backport code fixes made in LUCENE-5650 that were neccessary to fix
a bug that popped up when backporting LUCENE-5889.
there may have been several bugs inadvertantly and/or intentionally fixed by
the changes in LUCENE-5650 that didn't get explicitly noted in CHANGES.txt
