Thank you for the kind welcome everyone! It's an honor to be a recognized and I'm looking forward to committing to this great project. Per tradition, here's a short bio:
I currently work at Cloudera and have a passion for many different areas of distributed systems. Thus, my Solr contributions have mainly focused on SolrCloud (managed schemas, SolrCloud testing). I've also done a fair amount of work integrating Solr with Apache Sentry (incubating, http://incubator.apache.org/projects/sentry.html) to add (mostly) out-of-the-box support for collection-level and document-level access control. As Steve mentioned, I'm also a committer on the Apache HBase project. Before getting involved in the Apache world, I worked at a distributed systems startup and did some research as part of the Stanford Distributed Systems Group.
